Loving this book! I have never seen a book and patterns put together so well. It's so organized! The pattern directions are so clearly written. Everything you need to know to do these ornaments is easy to find in the book. Immediately started crocheting when I received it. Two done so far and plan to enjoy my way through all of them during thIs holiday season. The only difficult part for me is finding the yellow beads for Mrs. Claus' poinsettia (will do french knots as suggested if I have to! ) Thank you for such a spectacular book!

What is the recommended type of yarn used for these ornaments? Would like to know before I buy the book. I understand a variety can be used, but what did the artist use to crochet these? Thank you!

I wish the videos on Amazon had the brand and types of markers, chalk, colored pencils, along with tapes, artists knife (X-Acto knife), a the proper cutting board and ruler to have everything I need now, in place of what I bought hoping its was close to the markers she uses. What I had in my cart was charming house and gardens and Mancola watercolor pencil set. I have pastels and other supplies. Kat Von D eyeshadow which is the best eyeshadow you can get anywhere. It’s smooth and everything I have a huge kid that has like 50 different colors I think I gave to my knees but I have a few others here that might be great for this. I would use it for if I was healthy enough to get up and go and wear it. I’ve been too sick for too long. As an artist art piano soothes me like nothing else. Probably gonna buy everything she’s using now and get the silver thing away with it. I have granddaughters and a grown-up want to encourage them to have artistic supplies.

Great project for an absolute beginner. I will just add that I had to make an additional 5th row of white, to even it out. Must have overdone it in the beginning somehow. Thank you so much for sharing this!
